Hello
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor currently serving clients in private practice, with experience in the mental health field spanning over 10 years. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, emotional regulation, identity development, and relational challenges, using a culturally responsive and strength based approach to healing and growth.
About me
Areas of focus include anxiety and depression, trauma and complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, family of origin and intergenerational patterns, attachment and relationship concerns, anger management, self esteem, stress related to systemic and environmental factors, life transitions, and identity related concerns, particularly within Black and Brown communities.

I work with adolescents and adults and have extensive experience in high intensity and community based settings, including juvenile detention and community mental health. This work has included supporting individuals impacted by violence, loss, incarceration, family disruption, and limited access to mental health resources.
I earned a MA in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Clinical training and professional development include CBT, DBT informed skills, trauma informed care, mindfulness based approaches, emotional regulation skills, and crisis intervention. I maintain a commitment to ongoing professional growth and culturally grounded care.

Outside of clinical work, I'm a husband and father who values reflection, personal growth, and intentional living. I believe therapy is not only about managing symptoms, but about breaking cycles, strengthening emotional foundations, and building a healthier legacy for individuals and families.
